From August 22nd through August 26th, Melissa Waters and I are holding our 3rd annual ballet intensive at Le Studio in Pasadena. All ages and levels are welcome to attend, although we do request that dancers be at least 11 years old.
Melissa and I divide the students into 2 groups according to their abilities and then we each teach a class for 1 hour or hour and a quarter. Each day we concentrate on one specific skill, perhaps traveling steps or turns or jumps, then we all come together and work on a repertory piece or a character dance. It's a lot of fun and hard work. If you're an advanced dancer, it will hone your skills and if you're new, it will jump start your vocabulary and push you to the next level.
