I love seeing how much my students encourage each other!Leigh Purtillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07095828994683533162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6240342071129527298.post-43625925973535193522012-08-10T22:40:55.478-07:002012-08-10T22:40:55.478-07:00I love to watch better dancers and learn from them...I love to watch better dancers and learn from them. I always listen to ALL corrections given in class and to compliments as well in order to apply what I can to my own work. But I have to admit that sometimes it is hard not to compare progress and have to remind myself that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. I find it to be much more helpful to make friends with my classmates, learn from each other and encourage each other rather than to engage in competition.Lorryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03465317058558438930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6240342071129527298.post-15265509501790898212012-08-07T17:39:40.524-07:002012-08-07T17:39:40.524-07:00Exactly, Abby...everyone has a unique way of attac...Exactly, Abby...everyone has a unique way of attacking a step or combination - we should look at each class as an opportunity to learn from others rather than a way to show off TO others.Leigh Purtillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00477635525179050959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6240342071129527298.post-21062650013124338472012-08-07T16:09:38.321-07:002012-08-07T16:09:38.321-07:00Absolutely true, Leigh!
